Had that telltale delay as you get when you are connected to some scam artist from India
Indian guy called "Gerald" said I entered a comp to win an Samsung 10, which I don t recall doing. Said I have had earned 10 free lines for the euro lottery the following Friday. Long story short, it costs you £40 a month for a guaranteed win in a syndicate. Very pushy, put his manager on, I had to revert to foul language in the end. Number now blocked.
Indian call centre for a claims company, hung up and blocked
I have had nine calls of this number today and when I answered they stayed quiet for a moment before asking for me by name in an indian voice

HMRC scam saying a fraud case had been raised against me asking me to press 1 - hung up, blocked the number, and reported on government fraud page
Fraud. Claimed to be from bank security about amounts paid through an Amazon account.
I answer phone screaming in pain, man ask me if I have accident in last 3 month, I scream "Yes!" He say I may have claim, and ask when I have accident? I scream "when running for phone! I slip, I fell, I ouch!" He say claim exclude last 3 minute. I cry. Then weird man ask if I want sky? I scream "I looky at sky, my legs die when fall answering phone for claim no happen." Freaky man ask if I want new boiler for free!!! Well, I say ok.. He then say £10 for 1st month, £80 2nd month, then breakdown cover £5678
