Said it was Income Tax Revenue and intimated that my name was involved in a Tax Fraud, also press 1 to talk to an operator, I disconnected immediately

I can confirm exactly the same experience as stated above. The caller identified as British Gas
Fraud Post office confidence trick. Asks for £2 first then pretends to be your bank and empities your account. Only an idiot would click onthe link. Dont believe anything, how did they get your nunber?.. They didnt its a scam!

Called a service user I support, I asked for some thinking time for the SU and for a number to call back on if interested, if they didn t hear from us to view it as not interested. Looked up number online and read all this. Glad I did. Stated from EE, but no proof they are! Be careful, people, who you five information out to!
