SCAM claims to be from HMRC and you will get arrested if you don’t press 1
SCAM This is a text from a scammer who's taking advantage of the legit cost of living payments. It says it's from the gov. website and asks you to click a link to add your bank account details so that they can deposit the amount in your bank, so beware! Anyone who is entitled to any DWP money will automatically have it deposited into their bank account and upon researching this, I was told that DWP will NEVER text or ring you to inform you of your entitlements or ask for any details.
Scammers, never get through to know who it is but they've been calling on different numbers for months this just appears to be a new number they use.
Claimed to be Amazon with an enquiry about an undelivered package - I don't have any outstanding orders with Amazon.
Pain in the neck, calls at least every day and when call is answered caller hangs up without speaking.
Indian accent, call centre noise in the background. I didn't even bother to listen to their patter before hanging up

This number claims to be from HSBC they send a text advising that a new payee request was created from your account and to click a link to authorise or cancel!! - if you check the top of the message it is a mobile number . Texts from banks are not in that format.
