Claimed to be from BT Openreach about a problem affecting my internet speed. VM provide my internet and this group are trying to scam money.
We have been plagued by calls from this number recently, and as I am ex-directory & registered with TPS I decided to answer the call in order to try & put a stop to it. The caller claimed to be from The Government Funding Sector and the purpose was regarding cheaper energy bills. I challenged the caller as to how he had obtained my details, and he claimed that I must have completed a survey which gave them permission to call me.
