Fraud the call said they were from Amazon and my account and card had been compromised. I called Amazon from another device and they said it was a scam.
SCAM - HMRC fraud scam. Press 1 or you will be arrested.
Said they were part of a government scheme regarding loft insulation we have installed & there were concerns it may be mouldy ( there is nothing wrong with it) but don’t panic they were offering a survey, ffree of charge of course. He was obviously reading from a script. When I started asking more questions he asked if I was the homeowner and I said no I’m their daughter & they hung up! Very suspicious to me. Warn all of your friends & family.
