SCAM / SPAM It was an automated phone call saying it was HMRC that there was a warrant out for my arrest for tax evasion and I had to press 1 to talk to someone, otherwise I would be arrested immediately. Total scam, Google HMRC automated call and the top result is that it is a confirmed scam and you should end the call immediately.

i had to tell the man on the other end that i have reported the number and that its been traced to them and the police were on their way. the i heard him swearing using the F word, then hang up.i laughed.
