Who ever it was I think it was someone checking see if my number was live to possibly sell on to scammers
They claimed to be from my bank (VM money was Yorkshre Bank) to ask me about potential fraud on my card. (£52 on Argos in Aberdeen) I was supicious when they got agressive when I didn't know my banking paswword and I said I would have to call them back. I called the fraud number I have in my phone (0800 121 4251) and they confirmed it wasn't them that called me before. The chap on the actual fraud line also said that the real bank won't ask for any part of or all your internet banking password EVER!
Calls everyday trying to sort out my pension due to new government regulations". Not authorised. Wants you to invest in shady schemes. No way to stop them calling.
Private number
Called asking to speak to the person dealing with water drainage and maintenance. Have had no previous dealings with this company. When asked they had no website, e-mail, and only this number to give me.
