SCAM / SPAM It is a scam, a fake call from hmrc saying that you have to pay tax back or you will go to prison
Told me that the installation I had had could cause damp. Asked what installation I had had and he refused to answer the question, just kept repeating that they could put it right. Asked several times, same lack of response so I put the phone down and blocked the number. I have had no installations.
SCAM, they claim to be citizens advice. Always a foreign person on the phone. Similar numbers from the same number. Don't give any personal information.

As others have discovered this number is the marketing department of DM Design. You can call them for free on 0800 185186. I called it and spoke to a woman who said it is the marketing department causing the problem and that they were trying to do something about them. However, we can see that the first complaints on this page go back at least as far as March 2013. So obviously they are not taking this task very seriously. No 02089812271 Claimed to be from BT saying they were calling about our BT broadband when pushed they asked for a MR Haslam. We do not have a BT provided broadband service. I presume it was the start of some form of scam. The caller was a female with a foreign accent so I guess this may be a spoofed london number and the call may have originated from abroad!!
