This is obviously an autodialler from the length of time it took to connect me. The Indian caller said he was from BT, and my IP address had been hacked. I asked him what IP address he had listed for me - he wasn t even close. I asked him for his BT ID number - not enough digits (I used to work for BT). I told him to f*** off and hung up. This number has called me several times in the past few days, but it s now blocked with BT Call Protect.
I don t know who this number is but I ve had several missed calls from this number over the last few days. They never leave an answerphone message. It s probably a scam number.
