Claim to be calling from E E offering broadband service. Call originates from London city area where many scammer are based. Caution advised
Said that they were a tech firm, going to help me get rid of junk files, told me to press this key and that key, let them go on for a bit then told tham that my other half works...

I m getting several calls a day from this number but when I answer the phone it s a dead line. It s driving me nuts!!!

SCAM. A lady who called herself Emma answered and claimed I had spoken to her last week and had arranged to meet with her colleague the day I called at 10am. No previous call from the number. Never spoke to her before, plus she knew information about me which was unnerving.

The number 0131 331 4665 called my landline twice on 27 October once at 1.55pm + again at 2.10.with silence at the other end ( the STD is an Edinburgh) I suspect that these people are phoning to see whether I m in with a view to burglary Do other people get these problems
