BT Text Service (Legit) whoever contacts you through it may not be legit. Annoyingly I was woken up at 7am this morning and it gave the number as 0844 358 5862 which, as it was not an 07xxx number; I automatically assumed to be PPI or some rubbish taking a new sales approach. Turned out to be PARCELFORCE advising me of a parcel ETA.

Out of the blue we have started receiving calls from this number, every time we answer they hang up, in the passed week we have received 14 calls from them which is very frustrating Oh as I am writing this the phone has rung and there it is again, i m answering it and what a surprise someone says hi then hangs up, my husband works nights and is being disturbed during the day. Someone speaking an Asian language called at 8am. When he realised I had answered he switched to English to tell me my broadband had been hacked. Asked the name of his firm - BT. Told him I would deal with it and hung up. Rang BT but the number was not theirs! how surprising. Number now blocked.
