Got a call around 16:30 - sounded like a call centre - gent with a strong Indian accent said he was calljng from Ringwood Council in Hampshire - I live in Dorset! Said something about an accident in the last two years - scam call - I hung up

Had a look online to gauge an average cost of a conservatory roof.. found compare companies site that give u a ?average? cost ?16,000 then they call to say no thats wrong and then want more details so they can put companies in touch with u... told her i only wanted an idea of a cost not hassle
this number called me 5 times last week to my mobile whilst on holiday,called it today to see who it was without succcess

Scam or phishing call. Pretty ham-fisted approach - knew it was a scam as soon as they started talking. Wanted personal information; they said I had money owed to me by an insurer. Indian accent. Spoofed number (said they were based in Manchester).

Call centre. Explained he wasn t trying to sell me anything but when I said I do not buy anything over the phone or do any survey. Then he became very aggressive. So, I told him to remove me from their database.
Scam claim to be bank completely fake avoid!! claim someone is doing a transfer on your account asking you for your bank details scam!!!
