This number cost me over £6 for 2 calls adding up to about 10 minutes. I am usually careful about calling numbers when I don't know who they are but I cannot remember why I called this number. It is a number for somewhere in Hanoi, Vietnam

Warranty/insurance scam. Problem is few of these scams get reported to the police so it’s rare that the criminals get nicked. This site probably gets more reports of scam calls and texts per hour than the police get in a month. BUT the police do make arrests and do close down scam numbers and operations, often working with overseas forces, if they know about it. Reporting is easy. This person rang me. Didn’t introduce themselves and when they asked if I had 5 minutes I told them I was busy. They then got very sarcastic and rude saying by picking up the phone I accepted the call and now you don’t have 5 minutes. No idea who it was or what they wanted just rude!!!
