Called me a few minutes ago today to offer me a deal regarding my debt management plan. I told them (truthfully) that I am ill and asked them to call back another time (which was generous as my debt management plan is working very well, and I didn t need to talk to them at all). They argued that didn t matter because blah blah and were very rude, talking over me. I regained control and repeated that I was unwell. I received a call from this number reporting to be from HMRC. The call was a recorded message asking me to press option 1 to to discuss a tax fraud case against me & that failure to do so would mean I would be arrested soon!
NEVER call unknown numbers back as you may be calling a Premium Rate or International number masked by a spoofed number which could be a very expensive call.
This number is a scam and says they’re from HMRC. Please be wary
