Someone called from this number Australia, on my Australian mobile, and laughed. I thought that was pretty funny because prank calls of such a simplistic nature just aren't funny since mobile phones became ubiquitous. I mean, back it the 70s and 80s it was an inconvenience to get up from the show you were watching, leave the stove unattended or race of the throne to catch the phone; nowadays you just pull the damned thing out o your pocket.
Seagull Expert Guidance calling about a car accident I had [never] been in. Told I was on TPS and they hung up immediately.
The caller said they were calling from BT, knew my name, I am not a BT subscriber, talked about all other servers, Virgin Media, Net Plus etc having to barter with BT for lines, I hung up.
