Called asking for my wife by her old married name on my works mobile. Claimed to be representing the Consumer Justice Group and would get us back unclaimed PPI. Sent him packing with a flea in his ear. Told him to remove our details off the out of date database they were using and that this call would be reported to the TPS and ICO as a cold call.
Information Pink Tile Recruitment.
scam company tried to sell me a loan for £2000 and wanted a fee of £130 up front in cash paying. I asked for their consumer credit license number and they gave me one which isn t registered to them and lapsed in 2010 (572026). They also said they were part of Crowdcude which they are not, and call themselves Start Up Loans Ltd. No such company is registered with companies house. Funnily based in Glasgow apparently, none of the advisors had Scottish accents, but all had African ones.

I keep getting calls off these scumbags not answered so haven t a clue who they are. I have an ex directory number that only family members have so am pretty sure where these scum got my number from as I rang an indian take-away the night before the 1st call started so looks to me the number has been sold on to them, now also getting calls from Sydney. These scum need a large bat round their thick skulls!

A female called saying she was making calls on behalf of Macmillan Trust, she wanted me to give full banking details so she could complete a Direct Debit for only a few quid per month. The lady was very convincing in her approach, well practiced in removing any fear of my doing anything silly. I cut the call short by saying I would never do such a thing based on a cold call on the phone.
Automated call asking I call them back about some unspecified matter. I've never heard of them before.
