I am 73 years of age & I stupidly applied for a loan now I am called daily by different people. If you see this number on your phone 02080773334 do not answer your phone. They scammed me out of ?300 & left me penniless over Christmas, they asked for another ?300 I said forget the loan put my ?300 back into my account they were very rude & said I couldn t have my money back.
Just had a call from a woman calling herself Megan and telling me she was calling from Credit Management. I straight away told the girl I was part of the TPS and could she please remove me from her call list. With that she started screaming at me to SHUT UP, repeatedly.
This number range is allocated to Core Telecom we allocate numbers responsibly within the ofcom regulations. The call to cost this number is 30p per call. Mobile networks may charge higher but that is not within our control. The number is not text enabled so therefore there should be no charge for texting. We will investigate the use of the number and if it is found to being used outside of the specified use we will disconnect the number. We have suspended this number while we investigate. Thanks

They call leaving voicemails saying ‘this is not a marketing call, please call back’ I’ve also had texts asking to call back quoting the following reference number...which is different every time. And the name they use to address me via text spells both my first and last name wrong (not just one letter wrong, almost incoherently wrong!) so I will be blocking these obvious scammers!
