Automated call saying that someone had tried to make a charge of £600 on my debit card abroad. To press 1 if that was me or press 2 if it was not me. I hung up the phone without saying anything, picked it up a minute later and there was silence on the landline so I left the phone for half an hour by which time there was the normal ringtone. I think this was a scam call and had I pressed 2 there would have been questions about my bank account etc to "verify" me, and gain access to my ac

SCAM text message received from this number claiming to be from HSBC. Message states it detected new device used for HSBC access and to click on link provided to confirm device. Can't think why a bank would use a mobile phone number to text messages to it's customers. I'm not even a customer of HSBC and the location map of the number shows it in the middle of a field of nowhere!
