Got a call and the guy said he was from MTN asking if I did a sim swap today. I said no! He said I would receive an OTP with this no 573343. He said I will get another message with a different pin, I must give it to him. I got it and it stated: Do not give this pin to anyone. When he called back, I said I cannot give this pin to you. Who are you? Then he was off the line. I tried to call the no and it was just dead. I blocked it.
Received a call from this number this morning, a recorded message saying this is the tax office and there is a fraud on my account, I should press "one" - if I just hang up then there is a warrant out for my arrest! I hung up.
This company has been ringing me once a month on average since a car accident 18 months ago. My insurance company denies selling my details but I don t know how else Direct Assist would have got them. I have asked them to take me off their database but this hasn t worked. What is the point of continuing to ring me?
SCAM / SPAM Someone calling everyday. i answered the phone once. Man on the other side was asking about someone and later wanted any money for Bitcoin or something like this. I didnt listen him and disconnected. Block this number if calling.
