they left a message on my ansafone stating they were the police and they had a file concerning me and to call back. As soon I heard their tel number being London I knew it was a hoax as my local police are North Wales.

Called to tell me he was from Vodafone and that I could have an iPhone 7, 7 plus or Samsung galaxy... i asked was this in addition to my current contract or cancel and restart he then asked me who my provider is currently - I told him I wasn t interested as Iv not long started my contract ... Iv blocked the number as they have called me over 7 times in 2 days but I had bad signal - possibly from the callers end - sounded like he was in a tin box ... he knew my name and his was "David" calling me at 9.40pm o
