Missed a call to my mobile from this unknown local Nottingham number. Suspicious as I haven't given my number to any but a handful of friends, and my doctor/dentist/pharmacy. No message left. Another caller-trace service says this number was first detected 11 days ago, but there were no reports about it. When I checked 10 minutes ago, *this* service said there had been 16 searches in the last 10 days. Now when I've returned 20 minutes later it says there have been 20 searches. A company called CCG based in Manchester or so he said. He had what sounded like a South African accent. Said it was about PPI when I said wasn't it illegal to cold call he said that I had opted in! I hadn't. He was very persistent. He was still talking in a rather harassing way when I said that I was hanging up. This happened yesterday. I added it to my rejects list. Today I think that they called me from 01612497639.

Caller with a caller id of 0019202109543, Said they were from the Telephone Preference service wanting to validate some details so they can register me to prevent unwanted calls. When I asked the lady to remove me from her list and not call me again, she said she will "...Keep on calling me until I die" and then she hung up.
