A phone call and when I answered it was all quiet then hanged up.
A scammer trying to get my IP to then improve my internet connection but really just to hack me, told me that he was from BT and quite convincing but after playing along I terminated the call. Definitely a scammer.
Telling me to press 1 to cancel transactions as my bank accounts have been compromised. Hung up. Scammer
SCAM - Not sure who or whom organised this - but pretended they were Sky Broadband and then disconnected with a weird noise as soon as I asked any remotely difficult questions of them
Don’t answer calls don’t know who from and judging by the responses on silent calls/energy/insulation/sky scams glad didn’t. Know nobody in Reading which is the origin WHY is this still going on in 2023?m and nobody acts-NCSC/ICO/Action fraud don’t protect the individual Same with e mails-Those aforementioned Microsoft/Citizens advice and Which all meant to act-last two meant to escalate to Trading standards and do nothing! When report and have forms to do so-THEN Contact you whinging you report
Recorded voice saying two unusual transactions on card. Pressed 1 then was cut off.

Broad Indian accent, difficult to understand but the general gist I got was he wanted my details so he can save me 30-40% off my bill. Had to press for details on what bill he was saving me money on, he stammered and, almost like he was guessing, said my O2 mobile phone bill. Nobody in this house has any O2 devices so be safe - don't give these scumbags any details. Block the number, maybe work out some of your anger by screaming abuse at them as I did.
Fraud SCAM Pretended to be from O2 saying I was randomly selected to have my bill reduced. Told me the call would be followed by text messages with the details. Could not confirm they were from O2.
