Be aware everyone, just received a call from a lady in our area who has been contacted by a David O'Brien telephone 020 863 86691, he was telling her to buy an Amazon voucher for £200 and take to the post office to unlock a code to get a PPI award. HMRC is aware of an automated phone call scam which will tell you HMRC is filing a lawsuit against you, and to press 1 to speak to a caseworker to make a payment. We can confirm this is a scam and you should end the call immediately. This scam has been widely reported and often targets elderly and vulnerable people.
