I bought a phone cover for my iPhone 2 days ago from EBay. Then 2 days later got a call on my home phone supposedly ex dir. it was an automated call offering me a new iPhone the same make as the one I have. This site tells me the call was made from my local area. The phone cover is coming from my local area. Too coincidental? When I rang it back I just got a recorded message saying the number I have dialed is not a correct number please dial again. Some fancy scam here. Probably from the eBay seller?
Window tele sales
This is a suspected nuisance call. On picking up there was a recorded message asking for verification details. I immediately put the phone down. I have had a couple of calls from another Bridgend number in the last few weeks. 01656 723940 seems to belongs to a Mr Steven Walters of Dennis Place, Bryncethin, Bridgend. If so he needs to know it is illegal to call anyone who is TPS registered.
