Woman just rang to check on washing machine warranty renewal, asked how it was and said the warranty would continue under the same conditions. When we queried if there was any cost, she said it was £60 per year. we said we didn't want it to renew, she said we had to and that it was in the original contract. When we objected she put the phone down. Warranty actually ran out after 5 years in May of this year and the original receipt states that a warranty extension was offered but declined.
