THIS IS NOT BT, CALLED ME AND SAID THEY WERE FROM BT AND WERE REVERSING THEIR PRICE RISE AND WOULD SPEED UP MY BROADBAND SERVICE. ALARM BELLS WERE RINGING IN MY HEAD, HE DID NOT ASK FOR MY BANK DETAILS BUT DID ANSWER MY DATE OF BIRTH QUESTION. HE SAID HE WOULD EMAIL ME WITH MY NEW UPGRADED DEAL. RANG BT STRAIGHT AFTER AND THEY TOLD ME IT WAS A SCAM!!! ONLY DETAILS I GAVE THE YOUNG BRITISH CALLER WAS MY DATE OF BIRTH :(

They called today at approx. 18.14. They wait until you say hello, then after a few seconds, they hang-up. When you ring back they say that they are a company blocking nuisance calls, but, I guess if they were, they wouldn t be doing it themselves and they would probably try and sell you something, not just hang-up

Atleast 6 calls a day for the past three months!!!!!! Interesting. I called them back from my land line and 141 d the number. after them hanging up on me 5 times they somehow transfered my call to my mobile!! So whenever I called the number my mobile rang! They must be told to target a few a day and to constantly hound them! I kept calling and eventualy they picked up. Somewhere abroad! Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily.
