DO NOT give them any information under any circumstances and don t answer the calls. These are the very famous and popular "Microsoft Technical Support" people from India. They wanna get into your computer because you supposedly have a "virus" that is destroying your computer.

I’ve just received a call from an automated voice (08979 041 013) telling me that my IP address has been compromised from several countries and will be disconnected in the next 24 hours. Asking me to press ‘1’ to confirm blah blah blah – obviously I did not do this and I assume this is a scam of some sort – thought I best let you know!

SCAM Two calls, six months apart, claiming I had supported a online child safety programme and wanting to present an invoice for payment. As soon as I requested their recording of my agreement and examples of the advertising and a list of schools it was sent to they hung up after becoming very aggressive in the first instance.
Safe number. They are very helpful and did resolve my issue. A team of professional, who knows their job.

My husband has just received a call from this number saying they were coming this afternoon re facia boards. We have never contacted them and the caller was very persistent. We have told him not to come, but we shall wait to see what happens. Very intimidating
