They wanted to "fix" my computer, so I set up a temporary machine to see what they would do. They installed some remote control software from support.fix2x.com, and explained that to fix the problem as "windows 7 version 2009 isn t supported any more" (a load of rubbish), I would need to purchase an upgrade, either ?99 for 5 years, or ?199 for 7(i think). They then asked me to fill in a form from "www.resqnow.com" in order to charge me. I got bored at this point and hung up. THIS IS ALL A SCAM! Never
This number has come up on both my home phone and my cell phone. I never answer blocked calls or numbers I don't recognise this one has come up several times.
