Claimed to be from Talk-Talk. Computer locking scam from which you will have to pay ?150 to be unlocked. Based in Wrexham area and operating from a private house. Time for a police raid perhaps?

Automatic voice message from so called hm revenue and customs must be a scam
auto message, press 2, then music, then "sorry, that s not a valid option". Twice on two lines in the same dialling code within 5 mins of each other. Damn autodiallers

I just received a call from this number, I answered and a man advised he was calling from EE to advise on offers and deals I can access as I have been with EE ‘a long time now’ (which isnt really true and wouldnt be necessary to say anyway). Then he went straight in to ask me for some details. I was unsure about discussing further so asked if he could call back another time. I have just checked the number on multiple sites, most of which all say that its dodgy... I also checked the EE site, which confirms a
SCAM Claimed to be Sky technical support suggesting that my WiFi had been compromised and was being used by multiple people. Attempted to 'dupe' me into believing this by having me look up www.sky.com on a site they directed me to which showed up 70+ Javascript errors (nothing to do with my WiFi but could frighten people unaware). They then transferred me to "tech-support" specialist who asked me to download the Team-Viewer app in order to receive sky security software. DO NOT DO THIS.
NS&I call from this number to verify aspects of security on an account. If you don t trust it you can phone them on their normal number and get redirected to the same department that called.
Caller claimed I had been in an accident - when I told her I ve never been in one in my life she went on to ask details of the accident had to hang up.
