Silent call
A guy calling himself Austin Cooper phoned me supposedly from a Reclaim Department. He said I was to be reimbursed ?7,541:00. A man called Peter Smith was to call at my address the following day with further details. I phoned the Police immediately.
Scam. I managed to keep them on the line for 13 minutes whilst they gave instructions on running EventViewer as "proof" of all of the "Internet viruses infecting my computer" then the LogMeIn account that they would use to install malware on my machine. This is so that I could enter the 9-digit account on the "Abuse" section on LogMeIn.com to get it shut down... very important!

01915189725 Left a recorded message An American accent female no details of who they were and seemed to have missed out the begining as they did not mention my name or who they were. Said that there had been 2 charges on my card that I had not made before gave some amount and then the usual press 1 if this was not me.
