I think it could well be an insurance company. For the last few years I have received persistent calls from the Holmes Chapel area at this time of year. They always start up within 6 to 8 weeks of my house insurance expiry date, which they seem to know. In addition to the unsolicited PPP calls, energy providers, and possible scam calls originating from outside the UK, they just add to the harassment that is beginning to make the possession of a telephone a nuisance rather than a benefit.
