Automated call
Automated message re bank ppi. Have opted out numerous times by pressing 9 so this time I pressed 5 to speak with an operator. I explained that I had requested removal previous ...
This number has rung me several times at various times of day. If I answer the phone the line is dead BUT if I don t I get an automated message telling me to call this number from a landline BUT does not say why. I was told the number can not be traced and can not be blocked but I am not happy because (like others have said) I am being called at all hours early in morning
Just rings twice and then hangs up , probably wanting you to call back on a high rate number
Called back - number not recognised
THERE WAS SOMEONE ON THE END OF THE LINE, THEY ASKED FOR COLIN SMITH - NEVER HEARD OF THEM, BUT SOMEONE HAD ALSO CALLED MY HUSBANDS PHONE ASKING FOR THE SAME PERSON. SCAM?
Call centre, didn t leave message. I think it s the same number that rang yesterday and tried to flog me a new landline deal.
Fraud
The department calls those who have recently enquired about or ordered a SIM card for the O2 or Vodafone network in order to discuss your likely usage of the phone and see whether they can persuade you to take an increased service from them ie Pay Monthly contract / PAYG bolt on package.
