In my experience, this is Birmingham Midshires Collection Department chasing mortgage arrears; it is part of Bank of Scotland, as is Halifax, Lloyds and some others have the same chasers. so if you in arrears or late with your current instalments they will be hounding you by phone and text messages. Yes, they ask for your d.o.b., current address and how much you pay monthly and how is it paid. I have dealt with them many times. They will cancel calls but it takes 24hrs. Hope it helps.
