Phoned from call center, (I think they were the magazine sellers), they offered me 3 magazines for a good price & said I could pay over the phone. They were very nice at 1st & careful to explain how they wanted my bank details, (not a debit/credit card) & that that is safe, (I discovered that it's true), but they were very, very, insistent, determined & wouldn't take no for an answer! I just had to cut them off by hanging up. The woman was so pushy & phoned back a
American accent, said l owed taxes and the sheriff was going to arrest and take me to jail unless I gave them my name/address and bank details ……….think he/they thought I was going to panic and give them my details!!!
