This is a financial services company. Seems to be targeting older people despite them being on telephone preference list.
They called and said my Microsoft computer (which we don t actually have) had been hacked by scammers; I went along for a bit, then asked him where he was calling from; then that I thought he was scamming me, then he said you re an idiot! - at least try and have a better comeback than that!
This company claimed they were calling from Microsoft, and that my computer was logging lots of critical errors. They knew my email address and phone number. She reluctantly gave me this telephone number because I told her it just sounded like a scam. I believe it is a company selling you software packages under a guise of fear. Very naughty!
