This number called me last night .Not a number I know so phone does not recognise caller. No message left so am none the wiser
Missed call
Phoned me very early in morning.
SCAM Woman with strong foreign accent claimed to be from 'BT technical department' (immediately obvious not genuine) and said they had received notifications that my internet was being used by others fraudulently. Pointed out BT not my provider which she ignored, she then tried to guess some letters from my email to 'send me a verification' and when I said that wasn't my email, accused me of lying!!!! Presumably hoping I'd supply my actual email.

Someone called me from this number and when I answered they never spoke - there was a lot of noise (call Centre noise) in the background. I have blocked this number.

They said that my mother is to be sued by HM Customs and Excise. My mother is elderly and is upset by the call. I m very angry about this.
