Got call from this number. Said it was EE and they wanted to check some details - i.e. name and first line of my address. She then asked for my date of birth and and I asked why - they needed to check it was me they were speaking to? Refused to give my date of birth and I said I couldn t be sure who was calling me. She was miffed and said that all calls were being recorded - still refused to give my DOB and ended the call!

Person alleging they were from Virgin Media saying our security had been compromised. I listened for a while but when I asked if they were kidding me, they hung up.
Thanks for the comments guys. Call Guardian stopped them getting through and now they re blocked.
