Called for BT. Debt. Have never held account. Aggressive when challenged

Called on our TPS registered line from a predictive dialler (i.e. we pick up the phone, say "Hello" and give our company name, then there is silence until the call is actually connected with a sudden burst of call-centre noise and a voice says "Hello?"). Claimed to be calling "On behalf of The Trade Directory", yadda-yadda-yadda. Hung up after a few seconds, as couldn t be bothered to listen to yet another heavily-accented drone stumbling through his script at us, down a crackly VoIP line from Mumbai.

Chinese automated call

call purporting to be from HM Revenue and Customers and wanting to put through to he person dealing with the case. I m assuming it s a scam call

Took the call just after 6pm, interupting my evening meal. Asked the foreign sounding caller if it was a sales call as It was meal time he said "no". Then he went into the speal "Our records show you have been involved in an accident etc". I have not and told him so. That was the point he cut me off. Seems he was into sales after all. Offering a service is still "sales" and unwanted at that.

Selling insulation, but o2 TU-GO app reports this is really from 0114 307 2800 which is a call centre selling all kinds.

Number rang 3 times today, no one on the other end.
