unknown number, no message left, presume its spam!
SCAM
Probable Fraud/Scam - Heavily Indian accented female called Rachel called me purporting to be working for Microsoft at the Reading Campus. Claimed there was a problem with my computer and "bad people were using it for bad things on the internet". Told me she would deactivate my computer if I didn't do what she said. Got quite rude when I told her I didn't believe her. Stalled her for 5 minutes before she hung up on me.

Text message received: GOV.UK: You are eligible for a discounted energy bill under the Energy Bills Support Scheme. You can apply here: https://energy.support-rebate.com This could be harmless, the link takes you to a .GOV.UK page that tells you discounts are made automatically, no need to apply or contact supplier. Just didn't expect a text message from .GOV!!

SCAM Apparently HMRC revenue and customs. A letter sent to me was returned as undeliverable and wanted me to press 1 to speak to an advisor. Don’t think HMRC use American voice overs somehow
