I think this is a scam number. Recorded American accent saying HMRC and that a fine would be implemented and to press 1 to speak to someone. Obviously I didn’t, line then went dead !!

Silent call. Received a call from (07458 148209) on my mobile, although very few people know my mobile number. When I managed to answer there was nothing to be heard from the caller's end so I assumed it was some dodgy scammer. Someone on another site like this reported the caller to be an annoying or aggressive salesman from "Go-Assist" - this makes sense as I'd contacted them online about repairing a household appliance, decided their prices were far too high and deleted all their emails. Brechin (Scotland) cloned number allegedly from 02. A scam offering 40% off your O2 account. - I know it is a 100% scam as (a) I have had one of these calls before and (b) I ceased to be an O2 customer 4 years ago. Suspect someone hacked their site or an ex-employee has flogged their data to scammers. Foreign guy said he'd send a special code in a text/email but to not divulge it to anyone - probably because everyone gets the same and they don't want you to compare notes!

Automated call - telling me that a cost had gone against my Visa card for £300 Amazon and £1100 from somewhere else - I hung up as it wanted me to choose an option. I checked my accounts on a different device and all good. Fraud

Fake call centre, claiming to be o2 to aqquire your one time pass code to gain access to your account. Absolute scumbags, called them out and they was giggling about it. Fucking Indians. Nothing funny about scamming vulnerable people in a time of real economic struggle.
