Said they were from the HMRC, a male voice with well spoken English accent saying a TAX FRAUD had been detected against my tax details. Also said I would be arrested shortly, at that point I hungUp laughing.... :)

SCAM Automated recording with callback function claiming to be HMRC stating that my tax form was wrong. Well I'm severely disabled and cannot work so I don't pay tax. I recommend just hanging up on this number as I expect the callback number to be a premium rate line.

TV Insurance scam. Phoned last week & Indian woman (would Not describe her as a lady) Very argumentative with my wife, & insisting that we had insurance that was £10.00 per month. Wanted my wife s full name & date of birth. My wife ended up losing her temper with her & told her to f**k off (unusual for my wife, but shows how argumentative she was) They have just phoned back again, but this time just got a silence & no one would reply, when I repeated "hello" & asked who it was.
