Came up as an International call, but this was the number that registered on the phone when I checked it. Claimed to be from Sky telling me I was due a refund for overpayment s of over £200. As I haven't had a Sky account for several years I went along with the call as they verified my details. Naturally I made them all up from name, date of birth, address, bank name and numbers and it wasn't until they got to asking for the number on the back of my card they they queried any of the information I had given.
On the phone right now, 'O2' just rang me offering a upgrade, two months before mine is due. I rang O2 earlier and as told that they did NOT ring me offering me an upgrade. The guy is relentless, assuring me that he's from the head office, despite having no details on file of a call made earlier today. I have just hung up and about to block the ****!!
