Courier / Post office received a txt message saying I need to pay£1.09 for an underpaid parcel, as I've not ordered anything it must be a scam the number originates from to Russia.

Strangly enough received a call from this number within minutes of my Gumtree ad going live. Claimed he could put some work my way but all sounded rather fishy.
Said they were ringing in conjunction with police about a survey

called back after receiving a text saying (unknown company) had tried to contact me and got a stinking massive phone bill. absolutely fuming.

Never heard of them before today. Auto-called my mobile, asking for a Kerry Luxton. Never heard of her, ever, but other firms have also used that name. My mobile number was brand new when I got it, and hasn t been used by anyone previous to that. Anyone using an automated dialling service can **** right off, in my world, and am therefore glad to have added their number to my mobile s blocked list!
