Got a text from 07958686136 saying it was HMRC in brackets who I am signed up with for my Event work and it said that my records said I was owed almost £400 with a link to claim it on their website but I knew I wasnt owed it otherwise the message would have come through HMRCs email and the email of my Event Agency I'm signed up with.

Scam, I suspect. Automated message says the call is from BT saying they are about to disconnect your broadband and phone line due to suspicious activity and asks you to press 1 to speak to an executive.

Saying he was from Virgin Media and wanted me to login from my computer to check the router. I just ended the call. He didn't even know my name, account number or anything. I just put the phone down. Could be dangerous!
