SCAM / Spam telling me that my NIN has been compromised and need to provide information before they take legal action against me.
A woman with a strange accent claims to be from HSBC, and just wants to get your bank information.
SCAM - Thick accented gentleman claiming to be from the Energy Department of Scottish Power - and they keep phoning back.
Phoned to say I had been over charged by my bank. How ever they did not know which bank I m with!!!!
Answered the call without saying anything, and went dead at the other end. In past months I ve had a lot of junk calls from numbers starting 0203. Another one added to BT s junk box.

Two calls today, 04-06-2021. First silent. Second claimed to be from a loft insulation company working in this postcode area. Was unable to provide the postcode. Wanted to know age band (are you 40-75 or 75+), probably looking for more vulnerable elderly marks. Strongly suspect scam.

Cold call from First Assist Solution - injury firm claiming to have your number from National Accident Database. Complete scam - send them an e-mail through their website http://www.firstassistsolutions.com/contact/ (use a bogus e-mail address and phone number and see how they like the runaround!!!) Alternatively just report them to the ICO for breach of Communications regulations
