The "old" chestnut washing machine warranty scam!
Called my mobile but disconnected before it even rang. Left no message. Didn't recognise the number so didn't call it back.
suspicious call twice this morning. Second call asked for a Mrs Gillen but no one of that name lives here call was abruptly terminated
Missed call aligns to call from 020 8955 8162 where call disconnects as soon as you answer and speak. With the ***8162 I spoke immediately and it disconnected. With the *7566 number I delayed saying anything for a few seconds but as soon as I said 'Hello' it disconnected

Attempted phishing scam. Claim we had agreed to sponsor safety books for schools. I have reported this scam to ActionFraud (http://actionfraud.police.uk/), so I suggest you do the same & get these crooks shutdown. Also use 02080501467.
