Automated call Suspected scam using a sophisticated automated call. Received this in Newcastle area from a supposed rental association checking on my recent housing complaint. Very unlikely and either 'phishing' or some form of scam

Silent call
I ve been called by this number 2 afternoons running - I let the answer-phone pick up yesterday but no-one spoke. I picked up today and after a long silent pause I hung up as it sounded like an autodialler at work.
Fraud. At 0807, for the 2nd time this week, received a recorded message. Meant to be from a Daniel at Amazon informing me that a sum of over £1,000 has been spent on my Amazon account..... I don't have an Amazon account. I wish our government would sort this stuff out but they just don't seem as clever as the scammers.
