Someone called Rose Mark, trying to buy a new xbox from me. Said she'd sent payment but I received an email from 'Natwest' saying the funds would go into my bank once I sent a tracking number. I rang my bank, it's a scam. The email came from natwestonlinebankingservices@gmail.com when I confronted her with what my bank had advised her WhatsApp profile disappeared!
4 calls from this number, automated message informing me that someone is trying to use my visa card to withdraw £900. Does not use my name or a visa card number or even specify the bank just asks me to press 1 to stop the payment going through. How thick do these scammers think we are. Blocked number and reporting.
The person on the other end told me they were ringing to review my mortgage. When I told her I was uncomfortable discussing it over the phone, she got aggressive and rude. She told me my husband had requested a callback which I knew was a lie because he doesn t deal with this stuff over the net or phone!! when I said that he wouldn t have requested a callback she was really abusive and before she could hang up I told her how rude she was!! Fuming!
