Clearly scammers don't have Christmas Day off!...Ringing trying to scam people on Christmas Day is unbelievably scummy and a new low in my book. Hung up, they rang back - AGAIN saying it's urgent. What a bunch of w@nkers.
Telling me they were from Telephone Preference Management but very indistinct line.
Keeps calling, never leaves a message. Has a Derby code.
Legit. Checks out with what is listed on the HSBC UK website. Though the call quality was very bad. Also, you know it's a genuine bureaucratic banking process when they ask for 10 different details to confirm your identity. I swear the support lady could just identify theft the hell out of me at this point.
