SCAM A gentleman rang and claimed he was from microsoft, he said we had been sent 14 messages that we ignored to say we had been hacked so he was ringing to help. wanted us to sign into our computer while he stayed on the phone so he could help fix it if we followed his instructions. He was persistent, pushy and annoying. We did not comply with his request so he said he would block our computer. In addition to this number on my mobile, which I did not respond to, I had 2 other numbers in quick succession. They were 4475 1276391 and 4478 729 67737. The first suggesting I should link to a website - textilair, the second to strongsecurity and this last one to mbbgroups. As I suspected they were all scams, I did not respond to any.

Just received a call from -01219902545. Didn t trust the number so I didn t answer. But other sites suggest this number was used for collecting personal data, imposing as a Traffic Collision Insurance company.

Asked for my daughter by name! I asked who they were - he said Benjamin from BT - has she got a problem with her internet? I said that I would ask her (suspecting a scam). Have blocked the number on my wonderful BT phone.
